(Tentative name until I can think of a better one)
In the tradition of Angelheart, this story is about Nick, a no nonsense cop. When his partner K.C. is violently murdered he’ll stop and nothing to find her killer. When he is arrested for her murder, he escapes. Now wanted my the mob, police and FBI, and the killer he begins to question his own sanity: Is K.C. sending him messages from the ‘otherside’ or is she possibly still alive? Will he be able to find the truth and if so will he be able to accept it, even if it means facing the truth about himself?
